South Haven is a bustling summer resort with year-round amenities: unique shops, great dining, museums and galleries, Kal-Haven Trail State Park, carriage rides. In the summer there is boating, riverfront concerts, and championship golf course nearby.  In the winter, South Haven has its own ice skating rink and is near ski resorts.
